Flipboard redefined the way iPad users look at their Twitter stream, Facebook friends’ statuses, and RSS feeds. Can a new, and free like Flipboard, app approach compete or complement Flipboard on the iPad? That’s what Fast Company thinks in this overview of Zite:
I was able to connect Zite to my Twitter stream and Google Reader RSS feeds list last night after several tries. However, as Flipboard learned last summer, there is such a thing as too much success. Just as Flipboard was overwhelmed by iPad users last summer, Zint appears to be in a similar situation now.
I’ve been unable to get more than an error message when trying to use Zint so far today. However, Zint certainly looked interesting in the short time I used it last night. However, I will have to use it much more before its unique feature of learning my reading habits kicks in to persoanlize my already personal experience since I chose the people I follow on Twitter and the RSS feeds in Google Reader.
