Yahoo home page today switched to new design. This new redesign was available on the yahoo.com/preview for some time and today it was launched as new design for Yahoo.

Some main points of new redesign:
Personal Assistant – a preview area displaying recent messages from Yahoo! Mail, an online friends list from Yahoo! Messenger, and local weather forecasts, traffic, and events.
Yahoo! Pulse – a place to discover the most popular and interesting Yahoo! searches, as well as pop culture trends, music, videos, photos, and all the stuff people are looking for, reading, viewing, listening to, rating or sharing online.
