London-based mobile game developer Vivid Games has released a large update to Real Boxing on Android and iOS, bringing real-time multiplayer to the experience. Real Boxing has previously reached the No. 1 spot on Google Play in over 40 countries, and the new version of the app is further tailored to worldwide audiences via support for Russian, Korean, Chinese and Japanese languages.
Real Boxing previously allowed users to fight through the game’s career mode, fighting over 30 opponents, each with their own fighting style. Mini games with jump ropes, heavy and mini bags allow players to improve their character’s skills, while an avatar customization system gives players a chance to update their look with new clothing, tattoos, facial hair and more.
Real Boxing’s multiplayer update allows users to challenge each other via Google Play Games across Android and via Game Center on iOS. Players can place bets on the outcome of their fights using in-game currency, and 10 new achievements have been added to the experience for hardcore players to unlock.
In addition, five new Continental Championships and four Global Belts have been added as prizes, and a Lottery system will now give users the chance to buy one of three tickets for boosts in their next fight.
To celebrate the launch of this new update, Vivid Games has discounted the price of Real Boxing to $0.99 / £0.69 for a limited time.
