Verizon Wireless Gets Music Exclusive through Producer in Residence Program
Verizon Wireless is getting more into the music groove with a new Mobile Producer in Residence program. Starting early next month and continuing throughout 2008, the inaugural producer, hip-hop great Timbaland, will travel around to different cities on the Verizon Mobile Recording Studio Bus. He’ll hook up with a different guest artist each month to record and produce a new song for the album.
Since this is a Verizon Wireless thing, its V Cast Music service will have exclusive rights to the album until the end of the year.
