Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network is only available in 38 U.S. cities and 60 airports. My city, unfortunately, is one where LTE is only available at the airport. However, if you live in one of the initial 38 cities LTE rolled out to and use a Mac, you were as much out of luck as I am – until now. MacUser reported that:
So, there you go MacBook users! High speed wireless data can be yours in 38 U.S. cities. But, don’t do anything crazy like download a couple of HD movies from iTunes. Remember that Verizon caps LTE service at 5 and 10 gigabytes per month. So, two HD movies will probably wipe out the 5GB cap.
