Twitter 2014 UK Ad Revenues: £90 Million (Facebook: £531M, Google: £556M) [STUDY]
Twitter is expected to earn £96.9 million this year in the United Kingdom, of which £90 million will come directly from advertising – more than doubling the company’s ad income from 2013 – reports eMarketer.
Ad revenues at Twitter UK are forecast to rise to £143 million next year reaching £206 million by 2016, when the platform will control about 6.7 percent of the UK display ad market.
Rival Facebook will earn an estimated £531 million from ads in the UK this year, reaching £842 million by 2016, and a 23 percent market share.
