Top 10 Most Viral Brands on Twitter in 2010 [Infographic]

It takes a lot to go viral on Twitter – you have to reach across varied interests, demographics and industries, and produce content that is ultra sharable. The people at Viral Ad Network have put together a list of the top 10 most viral brands on Twitter over the past year, and some of the names might come as a surprise.

You actually might not be surprised at the number one most viral brand on Twitter in 2010… Justin Bieber.

The most viral thing to be passed around Twitter last year was Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never” trailer for his upcoming documentary concert film. This trailer had a whopping 41,676 shares on Twitter.

Following Bieber in the top 10 list are two familiar corporate brands from 2010: Nike and Old Spice. Also making an appearance is Sesame Street’s “Smell Like a Monster” video, which parodied Old Spice’s campaign – and actually surpassed it in “viralness” on Twitter (and Facebook).
