Tiësto Headlines Global Citizen and World Childhood Foundation's Thank You Festival

Last night, Global Citizen and World Childhood Foundation held the Thank You Festival, a massive 20,000 person concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion with performances by Tiësto, Above & Beyond, Krewella, Cedric Gervais, and Alvin Risk.

In continuing their efforts to activate socially-conscious youth about the causes and consequences of extreme poverty, Thank You Festival concert-goers and fans took more than 140,000 online “actions” over the past several months to call on Dr. Raj Shah (a participant in attendance), the Administrator of USAID, to increase US aid support to help children everywhere survive and thrive.
