Electronic Arts’ The Simpsons: Tapped Out conquered the top of the free iOS apps charts this week. The city building game based on the beloved animated series was first released back in March but was removed from the Apple App Store shortly thereafter due to connectivity issues. Now, with the issues presumably addressed, the game returns to the App Store at the No. 1 spot on both the iPhone and iPad charts. You can read our full review of The Simpsons: Tapped Out here.
Another licensed iOS game, Fuse Powered’s Jaws Revenge saw significant gains thanks to Discovery Channel’s Shark Week, taking the No. 2 spot on the iPhone chart and No. 4 spot on the iPad chart.
