The MoShow: An Entertainment Tonight for Mobile Content?

An Entertainment Tonight for mobile content? “Mobile visionary” Frank Chindamo and Emmy Award-winning executive producers Peter Brennan and Lisa Lew aimed to create just that with the launch of The MoShow on syndicated TV, mobile platforms, and online.

Mark Yoshimoto Nemcoff (Things I Learned This Week) and Dana Ward (ClevverTV) are the hosts of The MoShow, which will examine mobile music, games, videos, sports, fashion, apps, handsets, and more each week. In addition to its Website, the show will be available via syndication on some 300 TV channels, reaching about 92 million potential households.

Chindamo said:

This half-hour nationally syndicated entertainment newsmagazine for TV, mobile, and the Web will do for mobile entertainment what Entertainment Tonight does for TV and film, and do for tech what Top Gear does for cars.

Brennan and Lew added:

Half of all Americans are expected to be on smart phones in 2011. Obviously, mobile media is no longer a geek phenomenon, but a mainstream media mainstay. Is there anyone today not on a mobile phone or a wireless tool?
