Game.IO expects big things from its dice game Yatzy Ultimate on Facebook. The game has been updated with new levels, as players can choose from three types of Yatzy gameplay and bet virtual chips on the roll of the dice. The game will be familiar to fans of the table top game Yahtzee, but some of the game’s scoring elements are different.
Yatzy Ultimate offers two general gameplay modes, Bet and Multiplayer, as well as three variations on the standard dice-rolling gameplay. In basic Yatzy and American Yatzy, players work to earn points by rolling five dice per turn to create full houses, straights, trios and more. The two modes differ in a few scoring categories, like those dealing with straights. In Maxi Yatzy, the number is increased to six dice.
Players start with 5,000 chips, and can bet those chips in each game to earn more. In the game’s multiplayer mode, players choose from Low Stakes or High Stakes, depending on how many chips they’d like to wager. The game finds another player, and turns are timed to keep things moving quickly.
The more games players complete, the more game rooms they’ll unlock, which offer higher stakes and higher potential winnings. Gamers can also purchase access to new rooms instantly with real money.
“It’s time to get out of the comfort zone because the competition is getting fiercer on the way to the top to become Yatzy Hot Shot. With these new features, we moved the game to another level and we encourage our players to send us their suggestions and new things they would like to see in the next release.” – says Marija Keleshoska, Marketing specialist at Game.IO.
Yatzy Ultimate is available to play for free on Facebook, and is also available on iOS and Windows Phone. Check back soon to follow the game on AppData, our tracking platform for mobile and social apps and developers.
