  • MWW will be PR AOR for Lapolla Industries, Inc., a manufacturer of “polyurethane foam insulation, reflective roof coatings and equipment” designed to reduce energy consumption. MWW will primarily handle media relations to spread awareness of the brand’s eco-friendly building materials. Lapolla already has some big-name backers: the company was one of those selected to participate in President Obama’s Climate Action Plan and recently signed Ty Pennington of Extreme Makeover as a spokesperson. (No word from Vanilla Ice.)

  • SkyNet may have gone live on August 4, 1997, but on October 20th 2014, Skkynet Cloud Systems, a “a global leader in real-time cloud information systems,” signed Ottowa’s Crescendo Communications as its investor relations AOR. Cyberdyne Systems has yet to weigh in on the news.
  • J Public Relations added Biggest Loser Resorts AORThe Orlando HotelThe Nantucket Hotel and Resort, and Winnetu Oceanside Resort on the Island of Martha’s Vineyard to its client roster.
  • Fastlane Communications will be AOR for My-Villages, a company that literally uses tech to connect boat owners via a social community called The Boat Village. We have never heard of such a niche-y network. Have you?
