Sony Ericsson Jumps on Hard Candy Bandwagon a Little Late

The Material Girl sure gets around these days. Sony Ericsson said that it’s going to bundle music and mobile content from Madonna’s recently released album Hard Candy on new phones in 27 countries in Latin America and Europe, Cellular-news reports.

Hard_Candy_605.JPGThrough a deal with Warner Bros., Sony Ericsson will sell two content packages – one with the full album and some wallpapers and ringtones and the other with five tracks plus the mobile goodies.

Sony Ericsson is the latest in an impressive list of mobile partnerships centered on Hard Candy. Back in April, before the album was available at retail, Vodafone offered downloads of a number of tracks before they were available elsewhere, both Vodafone and Verizon Wireless scored an exclusive remix of the track “4 Minutes” and streamed several songs from a live Madonna performance. Also, Samsung bundled the album with its F400 handset in France.
