Social TV Awards Announced to Highlight Second Screen Experiences

In five years, will we be watching TV with a powerful second screen companion or will we be using digital and interactive elements that are visible up on the screen? Or will it be a union of both? It's a big question but if the Social TV Awards are any hint, it will be second screen that drives the revolution.

The winners are listed below, and represent a series of Social TV apps on a variety of devices. It’s interesting to see some of the bigger shows win awards for their experiences – the Walking Dead in particular hit every platform to allow users to vote and interact based on the show itself.
