Just in time for summer vacation, Viralheat has released an infographic that shows which major hotel chains have the most fans on social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
Marriott has the highest number of official fans, with 234,992 Twitter Followers and 1,153,403 Facebook Likes. Wyndham had the smallest fan base, with 1,144 Twitter followers and 29,05 Facebook likes.
Hotels are using their networks to talk about their wine and cocktails, swimming pools, hotel rooms, nearby landmarks, and promotions, the analysts found.
As for the guests, Hilton is the most-mentioned Hotel chain on social media sites. People have good things to say about Radisson, which has the highest percentage (79.7 percent) of positive social media sentiment.
