UFO-centric radio show host Art Bell is responsible for Coast to Coast, one of America’s most popular overnight radio shows. His blend of conspiracy theories, aliens and high weirdness has made him a cult favorite among college students, truckers and others who find themselves awake at odd hours. Although (and because) the subject matter can be strange, Coast to Coast is a ratings powerhouse: Nightly listenership is estimated at 4.5 million. Bell also turns out to have an unacknowledged son who works in Philadelphia magazine’s mailroom.
