Rugby Event Comes to U.S. TV for the First Time
For the first time ever, the USA Sevens International Rugby Championship will be covered on live TV in the U.S. when it takes place this weekend in Las Vegas. Broadcasting on NBC Sports, Universal Sports, and on Hulu, Rugby Sevens will be an Olympic sport come 2016.
In addition to the games themselves, there are other activities surrounding the tournament, including rugby clinics at elementary schools in the Vegas area, street team promotions, and parties.
