I’m still addicted to Plants vs. Zombies for the iPhone and have a hard time understanding how it dropped out of the top 100 list of paid games. Don’t feel bad for Popcap, however. At $2.99, it sold 300,000 unit in the first nine days after its launch in February. You can do the math. Popcap did ok.
While the game looks (and plays) great on the iPhone, it is pretty easy to see that it will probably look blocky and chunky on the iPad’s larger screen in iPhone emulation mode. So, the good news is that there may be a version redesigned for the iPad available at launch time this weekend.
My guess is that this game will be priced at around $9.99 (though I’m hoping for $5.99)
