The UK branch of Macmillan released its first eBook bundles today.
Each bundle will feature 2 or tiles from a single author’s blacklist. They will be selling in the UK for between £13.99 and £15.99 and include titles by bestselling writers Ken Follett, Jon Ronson, Sue Grafton and Andrew Marr.
The Sue Grafton bundle will contain her first 3 Kinsey Millhone novels, A is for Alibi, B is for Burglar, and C is for Corpse, while Ken Follett’s Thundering Good Thrillers will feature three classic spy thrillers from the master storyteller: Eye of the Needle, Jackdaws, and Hornet Flight. Another bundle will combine 2 of historian Andrew Marr’s two bestselling volumes, A History of Modern Britain and The Making of Modern Britain. Ronson’s Them: Adventures with Extremists, Men Who Stare at Goats, and The Psychopath Test will make a 4th bundle, and 3 of Alyson Noel’s Immortals novels and a trio of Montalbano Mysteries by Andrea Camilleri will complete the set of bundles.
James Long, Pan Macmillan’s digital editorial director, said the bundles were aimed at “dedicated eBook readers”. He added: “We’re delighted with our line-up of digital-first products for the big Christmas e-book rush—they look great and offer something exciting and good value to everyone who is looking for something to read on their new device.”
