OverDrive To Add Video & Audio Streaming From Libraries
OverDrive, the eBook distribution platform that supports eBooks check outs at more than 22,000 libraries across the country has plans to add a feature to its app that will let you stream videos and audio files from your local library.
While libraries offer DVDs, CDs and audiobooks, they have not previously been able to lend digital editions of video and audio content. The new feature will let libraries distribute videos, audiobooks and music on any device with a web browser and an Internet connection.
