Nexus One Lacks Macro Camera Setting But Still Takes Good Closeup Shots

The Nexus One (Google Android phone) doesn’t have a macro focus camera setting like the Droid. However, it can still take photos of reasonably close objects (a few inches) that looks pretty good. You can see one of my test photos above. A true macro focus would let you take a close up of the individual red bulb in the photo. The Nexus One camera can’t focus close enough to get a photo like that.

The Nexus One’s camera produces, in my opinion, photographs that are much sharper with better color saturation than the Droid.
