Mobile Only Ad Campaigns Google Tutorial: Adwords Editor

Google suggests you consider advertisement campaigns that are mobile only. They provide a brief (less than 3 minutes) mini-tutorial video to get you started.

New Video Resource: Creating Mobile Only Campaigns

Google notes that mobile searches quadrupled in 2010 indicating that reaching customers through mobile may be a good strategy. They note that advertisers that have a mobile-only campaign have an 11.5% larger click-through rate compared to ad campaigns that combine desktop and mobile. Google says that mobile only campaigns the advertser has more control and flexibility over:

1. Budget separately for mobile
2. Tailor an advertisement for mobile
3. Take advantage of mobile ad features like Click-to-Call

Google recommends using their Adwords Editor software (available for Windows or Mac) to create your mobile only campaign.
