Mobile Entertainment Revenues To Hit $47b in 2010

Growth in the 3G market plus a lot more rich media content will help push revenues from mobile entertainment to an impressive $47.5 billion by 2010, according to a Juniper Research study cited on Telecoms.com.

The article notes Juniper’s warning that this will only be possible if we see huge improvements in user interfaces and network coverage, plus lower prices for data services.

China and other Far East countries where fixed broadband isn’t that widespread account for 41% of mobile entertainment revenue, the report says.
