Melodis Launches Free Music Search App
Melodis, the San Jose, CA-based company that lets people discover music by singing, humming, or otherwise playing the song into their cell phone, said their musical search app for the iPhone and iPod Touch called Midomi is now available for free download in the iTunes App Store, according to MocoNews.
In addition, the company just picked up $7 million in a second round of funding, which the report said will go towards international expansion, including Asia, where the company’s investors “particularly have strong ties to mobile networks and devices.”
