It’s not a good idea to use the same password across the web, but with all of the online accounts you have it can also be difficult to keep track of so many different passwords. It’s also not a great idea to use your birthday, but alas, many people still do because of birthdays are easy to remember.
Enter PasswordBox, a new app that helps you create complicated passwords and then store them through what promises to be a secure network. The app, which is available for Android and iOS, acts like a “virtual safety deposit box” that you can access when signing into your many online accounts.
“Internet consumers have an average of 25 online accounts and the majority of people reuse the same username and password across multiple accounts. Our mandate was to build a solution that not only makes our customer’s lives easier but also protects against an increasing number of attacks,” said Dan Robichaud, CEO of PasswordBox.
