“What if there really were two paths? I want to be on the one that leads to awesome.”

Kid President aka Robby Novak became a viral sensation in 2012 after releasing his first “Declaration of Awesome” video on YouTube. He was energetic and wise beyond his youth. He’d likely argue that last point, since the whole idea behind Kid President is that kids have voices worth listening to.

Since that first video, Kid President has made dozens of videos and has become the “self-appointed voice of a generation.” KP has interviewed President Obama, Jennifer Hudson, issued powerful pep talks and asked his audience to submit videos about what kids need to know.

Kid President, which has thus far been a production of Soul Pancake, started as a fun project with a kid and his brother-in-law. And starting this Saturday, June 21 at 7:00 p.m. ET, Hub Network, which bills itself as a network for true family entertainment, will broadcast the Kid President in all his awesomeness.

The series will be full of the regularly cute and insightful antics of KP. Each episode will focus on a theme and include interviews with special guests including Kevin Costner, Jamie Fox, “Weird Al” Yankovic and Gene Simmons, among others.

The show is heartwarming and full of inspiration, featuring stories about people who are making the world more awesome. And the world can always use more awesome.
