Do you know what kind of rumors you get after all the important details have been leaked? This is one.
Apple Insider is reporting that industry analyst Mingchi Kuo, who works for KGI, says that his sources have confirmed that the iPhone 5 will have a larger screen. Only according to what his supply chain contacts have said, the new screen won’t be 3.95″ or 4″. Instead it’s going to be a 4.08″ IPS panel. Resolution is reportedly going to be 1136×640, which is exactly what had been predicted before.
I don’t know about you, folks, but I’m getting a fair amount of enjoyment out of this. We’ve achieved a new level of ridiculousness when a fraction change in the size of the screen qualifies as news.
Kidding aside, the new iPhone is also predicted to have a slightly improved rear camera as well as an HD capable front cmera.
