IFC To Show R Kelly Hip Hop Opera
IFC.com has commissioned a new batch of episodes of R.Kelly’s Trapped In the Closet, starting August 13, leading up to a DVD release a week later.
IFC will also air the entire series as a feature film on September 7, followed by an interview with Kelly.
Trapped is a hip hopera and is said to contain “drama, romance, jealousy and passion.” No mention of water sports or sex with underage girls.
