According to Hitwise, CBS and NBC were the top two broadcast-network Websites for the week ending Aug. 29.
CBS’ Big Brother was the most-visited broadcast-show Website, followed by Fox’s American Idol at No. 2 spot and Fox’s America’s Most Wanted at No. 3.
As for cable shows (adults only), Comedy Central snatched the top two spots with The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and South Park, while Home & Garden Television’s Design Star claimed the No. 3 position.
When combining broadcast and cable networks, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants topped the list, followed by The Daily Show and Big Brother.
Fast risers on the broadcast list were ABC’s Dancing with the Stars (to No. 7 from No. 71) and CBS’ CSI: NY (20 from 32).
Cable’s fast risers were Fox News Channel’s Glenn Beck (9 from 34), History Channel’s Ice Road Truckers (12 from 28), BET’s Frankie & Neffe (19 from 62), ABC Family’s Make It or Break It (20 from 30) and CNN’s Larry King Live (24 from 42).
Fast risers among the top 25 Websites were Glenn Beck (15 from 55), Survivor (18 from 59), Ice Road Truckers (20 from 44) and VH1’s Real Chance of Love (25 from 36).
