Facebook finished at No. 3 overall and No. 2 among the 12 tech companies included in the list of Top 25 Companies for Compensation & Benefits released Friday by social jobs and career community Glassdoor.

Last October, Glassdoor revealed its 2013 list of the 25 Highest-Paying Companies for Software Engineers, and Facebook finished in ninth place.
Based on more than 350 salary reports shared on Glassdoor between April 10, 2013, and April 9, 2014, the average annual base pay for software engineers at Facebook was estimated at $119,682.
Glassdoor shared two comments from employees at the social network. A program manager based at its headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif., said:
Excellent benefits and employee perks – on-site healthcare, chiropractor, acupuncture, gym, and many others I haven’t tried out yet.
And a software engineer based in Palo Alto, Calif., added:
Great pay, stocks and bonuses. Amazing perks! Lots of food choices, great campus, regular team happy hours with great food, and the list goes on and on.
