McDonald’s service, like Starbucks, will be provided by AT&T Wireless. If you’re wondering what happened to Wayport which provides current McDonold’s WiFi service, there’s really no change since AT&T acquired Wayport in November 2008.
I do wonder, however, if some McDonald’s will become overcrowded because people won’t give up their seats and tables while endlessly emailing, Facebook-ing, tweeting, or just browsing web pages.
