Mountain Dew bills itself as an extreme beverage, and it acted extremely quick Thursday, offering its Facebook fans free, customizable images to use for the cover images of their new timeline profiles.
Fans of the Mountain Dew Facebook page can choose from several images related to the beverage, all scaled to match the dimensions of the cover image for timeline profiles, 851 pixels by 315 pixels.
Mountain Dew worked with RFI Studios on the effort, and the beverage’s assistant brand manager, Jenny Danzi, told Mashable:
We’re always looking for ways to create new experiences for our fan base. I expected some backlash about people not knowing (about timeline), but that never happened.
