The newest entry into the small business Facebook marketing sector comes from Constant Contact, which announced the launch of its Social Campaigns platform.
Social Campaigns offers a fairly standard list of features, so it’s really up to brand managers to decide which solution fits their needs and which interface they are most comfortable with.
The Constant Contact platform allows users to:
- Create professional-looking landing pages on Facebook;
- Manage like-gated campaigns and offerings, such as coupons, weekly special deals, fund-raisers, product showcases, and videos;
- Publish and promote campaigns to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and email, via the platform; and
- Access metrics including fan growth, email list growth, visits, clicks, downloads, and participant sharing.
The list of Social Campaigns features is robust, but nothing we haven’t seen elsewhere. So what makes it different? According to Constant Contact General Manager of Social Media Mark Schmulen:
The true value of social media is not just about how many fans and followers you have — it’s about what you do with them. With Social Campaigns, small businesses can go beyond just getting likes by creating real engagement opportunities that keep businesses top-of-mind with their loyal customers and making it easy for them to share campaigns with their networks and friends. It’s results-driven marketing with the metrics to back it.
