Facebook Gets a Splash of Texas Pete Hot Sauce

Texas Pete Hot Sauce is using Facebook to spice up its marketing. Much like T.G.I. Fridays’ Fan Woody campaign, the company used the social-networking service to distribute more than 10,000 samples in six days, featuring a 1.9-ounce bottle of whichever sauce users selected, a can koozie and a coupon for more sauce, Inside Facebook reported.

Next on Texas Pete’s plate: The company said it will add a coupon for a free product to its fan page if it reaches 100,000 fans by Nov.
