Exclaim Track Eases Twitter Search
If you miss Twitter’s old “track” feature, which would ping users when keywords they were searching for emerged, check out Exclaim Track from Excla.im, a service that lets its users update their Twitter status via instant messaging.
TechCrunch described Exclaim Track as “Twitter track over IM” and said users can follow exclaimtrack@appspot.com, IM it with “track ,” and the service will IM them back with all Twitter mentions of the requested term.
Searches can also be turned off easily by typing “remove ,” and ditto for notifications, which can be turned on or off by IMing “on” or “off” to exclaimtrack@appspot.com,
