EA Acquiring Innovative iPhone/iPad Game Developer Firemint
Electronic games giant EA announced that they have agreed to buy Australia based Firemint for an as yet undisclosed financial arragement. EA notes that they are looking to Firemint for both mobile and online game development.
In the mobile world, Firemint is probably best known for its Real Racing for the iPhone 4 which was one of the first games to take advantage of the device’s high resolution Retina display and gyroscope for enhanced game play.
