David Baldacci Story Tops Bestsellers In Kindle Singles

Since Amazon launched its Kindle Singles storefront back in January, the store has slowly been filling up with content. When we check in February there were only twenty-two titles available, but now there are more than fifty titles in the store. Borrowing from music released as a “single” song, versus an album, these new books, are categorized as between 10,000 and 30,000 words –or about 30-90 pages.

Here is this week’s Top 10 bestsellers in the category:

Want to write a Kindle Single? In an interview with Mediabistro, Evan Ratliff, editor of the nonfiction publication, The Atavist offer his advice: “It’s still early days. Everything that goes into your Amazon Single should not feel like it was tossed off from some other place. That’s something that doesn’t strike me as particularly successful, to say, ‘Here are a bunch of leftovers that we have from something else. Let’s turn it into a Kindle Single.”
