Velocity Micro released an update yesterday for its second generation 7″ Android tablet. The Cruz T301 is based on a 7″ capacitive touchscreen, and it features a faster dual core CPU, SD card slot, Wifi, 2GB Flash storage, speakers, but no camera or Bluetooth.
The new update unfortunately does not bring the latest version of Android, but it does have a number of bug fixes and minor tweaks as well as a slightly less out of date version of Android. At the very least this update will improve app support (Adobe and Sony both require v2.2 for their apps).
In other news, Velocity Micro is not planning to release updates for its other tablets.
