CNN and National Journal’s Politics on Tap with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT)

Politics on Tap Invite-SEPT-v3ACNN and National Journal are back with their second installment of its Politics on Tap series, with this time, a focus on the upcoming midterm elections and the top issues facing candidates.

To start, CNN’s Dana Bash will sit down – brew in hand – with National Journal’s Congressional leadership reporter Tim Alberta and Washington editor Ben Pershing on the fight for control of the Senate as well as which races to watch. CNN’s Jake Tapper and NJ’s Ron Fournier will then join Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) to discuss the top issues of the cycle. Will he announce his candidacy for president (see this Washington Post article)? Who knows! Is an open bar event the perfect venue for him to do so? Definitely!

The invite has yet to go out, but we’ve posted it after the jump, RSVP dets omitted (sorry). It should go out later today or tomorrow, but should you not receive, try sucking up to your CNN and NJ friends to be added to the list.
