Barnes & Noble announced its newest tablet yesterday, and while everyone one was watching the press event B&N also filed the necessary paperwork with the FCC.
Every new wireless device sold in the US eventually has to be certified with the FCC, and the Nook Tablet is no exception. It’s alos no surprise that the paperwork wasn’t filed until the day the Nook Tablet launched; B&N has done that in the past. In fact, a lot of gadgets don’t have the paperwork filed until after the formal announcement.
Barnes & Noble is also repeating its other past habits. Like previous Nook devices, all the interesting details on the Nook Tablet have been concealed. We won’t be able to see any of the hidden paperwork (like the internal photos) for at least another couple months.
