AT&T is launching Webalo’s Mobile Dashboard service for the retail sector. The Mobile Dashboard gives mobile professionals real-time access to business intelligence and other corporate information on their cell phones and other handheld devices.
The companies cite a number of ways the application can help busy retail professionals be more productive. For example, managers can get immediate access to key performance indicators at the store, region, division or company level; buyers and other execs can access sales information for fast-moving products and retail execs can gauge the effectiveness of point-of-sale promotions in real-time.
