Amazon Opens New Kindle Support Center in Edinburgh
Amazon has recently announced plans for new expansion in Scotland. The new center is expected to open this year, and it will create 500 permanent and 400 temporary jobs.
It will handle customer support and tech support for the Kindle and Amazon MP3 services. The new facility is partially funded by a £1.8m grant from Scottish Development International.
In January, Amazon also announced that it would create 950 jobs in Dunfermline Gourock.
