to Launch Ad-Supported Mobile Forecast Videos

AccuWeather_Video.jpgRhythm NewMedia has added forecast videos to the inventory in its mobile ad network, according to MediaPost:

“The two-minute videos will carry brief pre- or post-roll ads and encompass national, regional and local forecasts (for more than 100 cities) as well as breaking severe weather alerts.”

Continuing the trend toward multi-platform mobile ad support, Rhythm NewMedia’s content provider portfolio includesCBS Mobile, ITN and Young Hollywood, with advertisers such as Canon, Microsoft, Paramount Pictures, Land Rover and Sprite.

In March, announced that they will be the default weather link for the Opera Mini mobile Web browser.
