AccuWeather.com to Launch Ad-Supported Mobile Forecast Videos

Rhythm NewMedia has added AccuWeather.com forecast videos to the inventory in its mobile ad network, according to MediaPost:

“The two-minute videos will carry brief pre- or post-roll ads and encompass national, regional and local forecasts (for more than 100 cities) as well as breaking severe weather alerts.”

Continuing the trend toward multi-platform mobile ad support, Rhythm NewMedia’s content provider portfolio includesCBS Mobile, ITN and Young Hollywood, with advertisers such as Canon, Microsoft, Paramount Pictures, Land Rover and Sprite.
