A Web at the Top of the World--Xeni Jardin

Farthest-flung correspondent Xeni Jardin has been doing a series for both NPR and Wired, Hacking the Himalayas. Westerners are bringing cell and web service to the Tibetans in exile in Dharamshala, in northern India.
HIs Holiness, the Dalai Lama, has issued a statement of support for the project and for the Air Jaldi Summit on wireless technologies, to be held in October.
