Earlier today, we wrote about YouTube’s Rewind video, which packed 300 celebs into a seven-minute video. Now, here’s a look at YouTube’s top ten trending videos of the year, which amassed 633 million views, an 83-million increase from 2016’s top clips.

YouTube’s methodology crunches views, comments and likes; YouTube claims that these videos were watched for more than 40 million hours since January 1, and that the creators who uploaded them collectively have more than 55 million subscribers.
