Non-steroid-takers are slugging it out this week in the 60th annual Little League World Series in central Pennsylvania. Actually, its official title this time seems to be the 60th annual Little League World Series Presented by Frosted Flakes, which is how they’re referring to it on ESPN. In fact, the Frosted Flakes Web site has a whole baseball theme going on. I guess it’s somewhat refreshing that Kellogg’s isn’t so worried about health-nut backlash against its sugary cereals, even though Corn Flakes probably would have been the more P.C. choice. (There is a 1/3-less-sugar version of Frosted Flakes, but then we’d be stuck with the 60th annual Little League World Series Presented by Frosted Flakes With 1/3 Less Sugar, which doesn’t roll of the tongue.) The big question, though: Will the dead/not-dead Frosties kid make an appearance in Williamsport this weekend?
