The next time Nike does an ad campaign featuring curvy women athletes, Serena Williams wants in. Williams, who signed a five-year, $55 million endorsement deal with Nike in 2003, found out about the Nike campaign in a newspaper article. At a press conference following her opening-round U.S. Open win yesterday, she had this to say about images of beauty: “I’m no model. … I’ve always accepted my curves. There’s nothing I can do about it, so I’ve learned to accept it and live with it.
