Catherine Zeta-Jones did some German film work before she got famous, but it's not what you think. She played an adulterous married woman in the TV spot below for the Deutsche Bahn, the German national railway company. This was circa 1990, when she was in her early 20s—and it was reportedly her first ever on-screen role. Zeta-Jones would land a role in the British TV dramedy The Darling Buds of May the following year, and she would never look back. But it's interesting to see these comparatively humble roots. And at least she didn't dress up as Eagle Man during her commercial days.
