Sports Fans From Different Religions Come Together in Toyota’s Latest Super Bowl Spot

The brand will have three spots in the game

Toyota has released its third and final Super Bowl LII ad this morning. The brand announced earlier in the week that it would be making its biggest Super Bowl appearance to date with two 60-second spots and one 30-second spot.

The latest spot to debut, “One Team,” will run following the Toyota Halftime report. In the 60-second spot, a group of religious leaders from various faiths, and who are clearly close friends, hop into a buddy’s Toyota Tundra. The four men, while having different beliefs, are coming together to enjoy a game of football, rooting for the same team.

“One Team” is part of Toyota’s ongoing “Let’s Go Places” campaign. It also ties into the brand’s 2018 Olympic and Paralympic marketing.

Two of the brand’s Super Bowl ads have already been released. “Good Odds,” one of the 60-second ads, features Paralympic alpine skier Lauren Woolstencroft and the 30-second ad, “Mobility Anthem,” focuses on people of all different ages achieving their goals.

A 60-second cut will run in-game, but Toyota has also released an extended version of the ad. Saatchi & Saatchi handled creative for this spot, with direction by filmmaker Ivan Zacharias.
