Nissan Leaf Billboard Smokes Out New York Auto Show
TBWA\Chiat\Day and the Nissan Leaf are offering a big smelly FU to visitors of the New York Auto Show this week with the billboard shown here, featuring a giant car exhaust spewing acrid smoke into the air. "The auto show has over 1,000 of these. But only one 100 percent electric, zero-tailpipe Nissan Leaf," says the headline. Check out the billboard in action below. The smoke isn't actually acrid, of course—it's environmentally friendly, where actual car exhaust obviously is not. Client and agency are making a major push for the vehicle of late, including this zero-themed Leaf TV spot.
